As a corporate volunteer you will be able to make an impact by providing administrative, marketing and IT support to the organization. Ambassador
In the coming months, we will be creating official guidelines and criteria for volunteer “Smitten With Mittens Ambassadors”. These Ambassadors will serve as mittens distributors and liaisons for the mittens to the orphans in specified regions. Ambassadors will be able to create relationships with orphanages within one specific region or volunteer to provide assistance within multiple regions around the world. Digital Storyteller
Multimedia coverage and social distribution of content over the web plays a significant role within the Smitten With Mittens project. Through video, photos, live-streaming, blog entries, digital diaries, social tools and more, we will be able to share the touching stories of the orphans receiving the mittens and using the mittens and demonstrate how a little something can make one child smile. This will create awareness of the perils of society that have not only left a lot of children parent-less, but have also, in politically distressed situations, prevented orphans from receiving the proper healthcare, food, clothing, shelter, education and love that they deserve.
